Could it be?
Really?
This whole time, I've been wrong?
And that maybe this whole beach thing...
isn't quite so bad as I thought...
if everyone just leaves you the heck alone?
Wait, wait, wait!
Come back a sec! I'm all done!
I need a picture! Thanks, honey! Now go away again...
Ta-da!

The folks over at humor-blogs are not going to make fun of me for wearing a hat AND sitting under an umbrella. Because it's not nice to make fun of the elderly.

Really? Serious? You found a totally deserted beach? Where is this mythical beach?
(and also, you take a PICNIC TABLE with you? Wow. I thought I was posh when I got a beach umbrella, and those little folding chairs about 10cm off the ground. Hmm, will have to rethink my beach-preparedness strategy now...)
Oh, and GREAT JUMPER! Love it!
I love the way you bitch, I mean, beach. Fanbloodytastic, as is the jumper. Good work!
Beautiful sweater. I took lots of knitting with me to the beach, and I didn't get any of it done. I was too busy running after toddlers and crawlers who insisted on heading straight into the water. I look forward to the day when I can sit and relax on the beach.
I am waiting and waiting for the day my kids are big enough to leave me alone at the beach. Enough to actually flip through a magazine :)
Wow I love that sweater. And yeah where is this beach where there is noone else around? You are not going to tell are you? Because it won't stay this deserted.
Oh, my but that is gorgeous! I remember when you used to pretend you weren't a "real" knitter. But these last two sweaters really call the BS card on you. Oh, and where did you get that very cool knitting bag???
that's so great!! the sweater is adorable! i got to knit a few rows at some fountains at the mall in between yelling at my sons to not wander off/fight/no i'm not buying you ice cream. this gives me hope. :)
looks amazing but I too will have to think about my beach aparatus and maybe I too will be able to knit something so lovely.
You definitely know how to party.
That is a gorgeous jumper - oh my - just lovely - and my grandmother always said it was a sin to make fun o f the foolish..
Hat and unbrella is just sensible in my book!
Like the beach set up though!
Beautiful!
Awesome! That is so cute, and what a productive beach trip!!
What is this "relaxing on the beach" you speak of? I think I remember it...
and I love the sweater!
Ooooo, I just love that sweater! Every time I see that you've knitted something, it gives me inspiration to crochet something. After I leave the computer, it's gone!
Oh, at least knit a swimsuit while you're there.
Gorgeous sweater!
Gorgeous sweater!
Very nice!
Scarily enough, I have all umpety skeins of the Wool Bamboo to make my sweater with, and I'm still being a good girl and working on just this one pair of socks! It's not like I don't have other projects to work on either. I'm pathetic!
Wow, that's beautiful. I love beach knitting. But then, I love the beach.
Maybe you could knit some children and a husband and you'd get your wish all the time. Oh yeah, knit a camera and a tripod.
Can you make one for me, too?!
Pretty please?!
So peaceful, so quiet and you come away with a beautiful sweater to boot! Good for you!
Wow. Seriously. You can knit... like really knit. Not just scarves. I cannot knit worth a a damn. I've tried and my hands do not want to work together, they go on strike whenever I'd pick up the needles.
Beautiful.
Wow! Yay for beach knitting!
OH!!!!!!!!
you are SOOOOO good!!!
it looks absolutely FABULOUS!
and i wish i could join you... although you may not want company... but it looks like one of those chairs is calling my name. i can HEAR it!
A deserted beach, a chair, umbrella and knitting ... perfect. The sweater is great. I love 3/4 length sleeves.
Woo hoo! Quiet time on the beach!
And what a STUNNING top!! Gaw-jus!
